Three markers in Fauquier County that recall the Mellons’ philanthropy and the Rokeby Stables will be dedicated at Trinity Episcopal Church, Upperville:

Rokeby Stables
The public ceremony to dedicate all three markers will begin at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, July 4, two miles east of Upperville at the intersection of John S Mosby Highway (US 50) and Rokeby Road (Route 623), where two of the markers — “Paul Mellon” and “Rokeby Stables” — will be unveiled.
Following that unveiling, the dedication ceremony will reconvene and continue at 11:00 a.m., two miles to the west at Trinity Episcopal Church, 9108 John S Mosby Hwy, Upperville, with the unveiling of the marker “Mary Elizabeth Conover Mellon.”
A light reception will follow the ceremony.
